Create Your First Event

Events are containers for your setlists. Think of them as gigs, concerts, or performances.

  1. 1. Visit setflow.live
  2. 2. Click "Create Event" on the homepage
  3. 3. You'll be automatically redirected to your new event page
  4. 4. Click on the event name to give it a custom title (optional)
No signup required - you can start immediately!

Create Your First Setlist

Setlists contain your songs and breaks. You can have multiple setlists per event.

  1. 1. Click "New Setlist" on your event page
  2. 2. Enter a name for your setlist (e.g., "Set 1", "Main Set", "Acoustic Set")
  3. 3. Click "Create Setlist"
  4. 4. You'll be taken to the setlist editor

Add Songs and Breaks

Build your setlist by adding songs and breaks. Drag and drop to reorder as needed.

  1. 1. Click "Add Song" to add a new song entry
  2. 2. Type the song name and optionally set a duration
  3. 3. Use "Add Break" for intermissions or equipment changes
  4. 4. Drag songs up and down to reorder your setlist
  5. 5. Changes are automatically saved every few seconds

Go Live for Performance

When you're ready to perform, go live to enable performance mode and real-time features.

  1. 1. Click the "Go Live" button in your setlist
  2. 2. Your setlist is now in performance mode
  3. 3. Use the view link to see the audience-facing display
  4. 4. Click on songs to mark them as current
  5. 5. Use the timer for timed segments

Key Concepts

Events

Top-level containers that represent a performance, gig, or concert. Events can contain multiple setlists and manage crew members.

Examples: "Wedding at Grand Hotel", "Rock Festival 2025", "Coffee Shop Acoustic"

Setlists

Ordered collections of songs and breaks within an event. You can have multiple setlists per event for different sets or scenarios.

Examples: "Set 1", "Acoustic Set", "Encore", "Background Music"

Crew Members

People involved in your event who can receive messages and view the performance. Add band members, sound engineers, and stage crew.

Examples: "Sound Engineer", "Lighting Tech", "Bass Player", "Stage Manager"

Live Mode

When a setlist goes live, it becomes the active performance setlist. Changes sync in real-time, and the view link shows the current state.

Only one setlist per event can be live at a time.
